Borderline by Tame Impala

Tame Impala, Kevin Parker, is an Australian multi-instrumentalist, writer, producer, recording artist, and performer. He plays a mixture of psychedelic rock, indie pop, synthpop, alternative, and so many more sounds, helping him create his original recognizable sound. He released a revised version of this song that makes the bass more prominent. In an interview with radio show hostess, Lucy Smith, Parker mentioned that the bassline sounded mixed in with the rest of the instruments and he realized he wasn’t finished with it. In addition, he said, “ I think the way the world changes and the way the music changes and the way it’s made, it paves the way for things like that that are new and scary at the time. But at the end of the day, music is what music is because of the way we listen to it and the way we made it. The fact that songs are usually four minutes and albums usually 40 minutes – it’s kind of just like, why are those things the way they are?” I personally find Tame Impala incredible, mainly because of his way to develop a new and defined sound that makes him stand out from everyone else in the music industry. This song will definitely stay in your head all day, just like it did with me. Hope you enjoy it!
